About Us

As a urologist, I have served patients in Arizona for the past 20 years. I have personally treated well over 10,000 patients. My early interests were in the more common urologic disorders found in the older population and general geriatric care. I have opened practices in both areas. What became increasingly clear to me was the medical industry's decrease in interest in sexual dysfunction as patients age. There are many reasons for this, some legitimate, some not. I have focused my attention and medical expertise on the treatment of men's and women's sexual dysfunction beyond the use of standard commercial products. I have treated over 4,000 patients specifically for sexual dysfunction in the past three years, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

We at Copeland Care focus our skills and expertise on sexual health and in other areas that people may be hesitant to seek out professional care. We base our care o the belief that healthy sex life is a central component to overall health, wellness, and happiness.

Proactive and preventative measures help keep our community healthier, and we work with that idea in mind. We also have full HIPPA compliant online video appointments that are both easier for patients to attend and provide even more anonymity than clinic visits.

Patient education is part of the Copeland Care treatment philosophy. We work with each to determine the exact cause of their symptoms and devise a personalized treatment plan that delivers lasting effects. We do not believe in the "cookie cuter" approach to health care. Sharing information on how to best support urological wellness is part of that process. • More on Dr. Copeland's Journey 

• Education has always been an essential part of Dr. Copeland's journey. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson. From there, he went on to complete his medical degree at Arizona Health Sciences Center College of Medicine.

• Dr. Copeland of Copeland care refined his skills through a general surgery internship and residency at University Medical Center in Tucson. He also completed a residency in urology at University Medical Center in Tucson. He continues to seek out opportunities to expand his base of knowledge and skill to provide his patients with the best possible care.

• Before attending college, Dr. Copeland served in the United States Army. Since completing his medical training, he's held positions in urgent care, urology, and mobile health care. Now in private practice, Dr. Copeland finds his professional life deeply rewarding.
